This Privacy Policy describes how MMAY DEV LLC (doing business as MMAY DEV and SiCal) ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the SiCal mobile app and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to SiCal on iOS and Android in regions where the app is made available through supported app stores.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Account and Identity Data

SiCal does not require user accounts. We do not collect name, email, password, or profile data through the app.

3.2 App, Device, Analytics, and Tracking Data

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, usage telemetry, crash analytics, location data, contacts data, or similar tracking information.

3.3 Calendar Data

Calendar event data is not stored on our servers. Calendar data you choose to save is handled through your selected Sia indexing service and the decentralized Sia network.

3.4 Sensitive Data

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.

4. How We Use Information

Because we do not collect personal information through SiCal, we generally do not process personal data for analytics, advertising, profiling, or marketing.

If you contact us directly by email, we use the information in your message only to respond and provide support.

SiCal may send local notifications on your device based on your local app settings. We do not send push notifications from our servers and we do not send marketing emails.

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, our legal bases are:

• Performance of a contract: to provide app functionality you request.
• Legitimate interests: to respond to support inquiries and maintain service security.
• Legal obligation: where required by applicable law.

In practice, these bases apply mainly to limited support communications, because we do not collect personal information through normal app use.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising.

SiCal integrates with a Sia indexing service selected by you for storing data on the decentralized Sia network. Data handling by that indexing service and decentralized hosts is governed by their own terms and privacy practices, not by us.

7. International Data Transfers

We do not operate centralized storage of user calendar content. Data stored via your selected Sia indexing service may be distributed globally across third-party hosts outside our control.

8. Data Retention

We do not retain user calendar content on our servers.

You can delete calendar data in the app or through your chosen Sia indexing service, subject to the technical behavior and retention characteristics of those third-party decentralized systems.

If you contact us by email, we may retain support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve issues, and comply with legal obligations.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

For data processed by your chosen Sia indexing service or decentralized hosts, you may need to contact that provider directly.

10. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not process personal information for targeted advertising through SiCal.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

SiCal is a mobile app and does not use website cookies for app functionality. If we provide a website in the future, any cookie-related practices will be disclosed there.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information we control. Data handled through your selected Sia indexing service and the decentralized Sia network is outside our direct infrastructure control.

Based on our current design, data is intended to be encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is controlled through your recovery phrase. You are responsible for safeguarding your recovery phrase.

13. Children's Privacy

SiCal is not age-restricted and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through normal app use.

14. Third-Party Services

SiCal relies on third-party infrastructure chosen by users (for example, Sia indexing services and decentralized network hosts). Their privacy and data handling practices are governed by their own policies and terms.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as required by law.
